Ugh. All that pouting this weekend wasn't good for my system. My stomach didn't want to get up with the rest of me this morning, so I'm on delayed status for going to work. I HATE when I'm sick on Monday. Everyone always thinks you had too much weekend...which would be fine if that was the Culprit! Oh well. The chicken noodle soup is settling, and I have time to do the Monday Mission before I get dressed.

PromoGuy's Monday Mission 2.42

1. Have you ever felt like you were expected to set a good example for others? I'm an oldest sibling, we're told from the get-go to be a good example.

2. What keeps you on the right path? For example, why do you think you turned out the way you did as opposed to the nut ball sniper out there? Well, I think the nut ball sniper is sub-human and doesn't really count as an example of anything. When I was a kid, I read the book "In His Steps". It was the original "wwjd" book, and it's what I try to do, though I don't follow through as much as I should.

3. Sometimes things seem different than they really are. When was the last time you believed something to be one way only to learn you had it all wrong? This issue has been about people. I thought the guys in our shop were only interested in young beautiful blondes. I was wrong. And it pointed out how prejudiced I was about certain male types.

4. Can you recall a time when being alert and observant kept you safe? In traffic. Though sometimes I think that's the angels watching, too. *smile*

5. Who in your personal circle of relationships do you think is smarter than you? Are they smarter in just one area, or overall? How do you feel about that? How do they interact with you? My brother Boo, in the overall department. He's one of my best buddies.

6. Let's daydream a little: Describe in detail the most perfect lazy day, start to finish. Um...*grin*...okay, I'm imagining, but I don't think I'll describe it>

7. Are you dressing up for Halloween? If so, what as? If not, how come? What is the most favorite costume you ever had? I'll wear black with a Halloween kerchief. Works for the office. Most favorite costume? A hobo costume I wore in 6th grade. I think that was my last year of trick-or-treating.
